David contacted me and informed me that our annual TBOT Tournament and  Championship (self bows and wood laminate bows only) shoot scheduled for the 2nd and 3rd of May at Memphis, Tx has been cancelled until next year due to the Corona virus.

We hate it, would have been #24 for us methinks.  Maybe 25th.

Texas is mostly on don’t get out and about unless absolutely necessary status (I’m glad I have a big back yard).

Better to be safe than sorry for sure.

Everyone be safe, blessed and well……..

      I titled this picture “Reflections”

I know what you mean Ralph.  We cancelled OJAM XVI last month at the last minute and it’s the only one I’ve missed.

I have three acres here and the nearest neighbor is over 1/4 mile away so I feel pretty safe.  I’ve got my targets to shoot, my woodshop, and am giving the starlings heck with my pcp pellet rifle.

Hey Ralph, stay healthy to shoot next year for sure! We’re on lock down in PA and I’m all for it. Health first. All the best to you! Dc

Great picture Ralph!  When I saw it I thought about the neighbor on the old sitcom Home Improvement: “Hidey ho there good neighbor!”

Not happy about my favorite Az. & Calif. shoots being canceled but will spend the time working on proper form ’til I get it right.

Yes, NM is shut down too. you can still go to the National Forest , but the facility’s are closed.  Not sure how this will affect the turkey season ( ie will this be allowable travel –)my community is handling the situation   well so far. Best of luck to all. Looks like i will be shooting my bows in the back yard for awhile —

Since I’ve lost my lease after 26 years I’ve not much anywhere to hunt now but who knows by next fall what may happen.

I’ve a jillion pics though that my game cams and I have captured over the years and lots of memories.

I’ll share a pic now and then.

I called these girls in with a fawn bleat..

Sorry to hear you lost your lease , maybe you can find a new one before the fall?

Great photos – keep em coming. Looks like we will have to hunt vicariously thru photoplays for awhile I guess —
