I knew Kevin Forrester built beautiful arrows, but this time he’s outdone himself!

An Iraq War veteran was looking for a little help getting into traditional archery, so Kevin built and donated a half dozen arrows made from purple heart wood. Below is a picture of the arrows, along with the veteran’s Purple Heart award. Awesome!

If anyone would like more information about arrows for wounded warriors, please email Kevin at forresterwoodshafts@yahoo.com

Kevin, thanks for your hard work and generosity toward our military.

                Kevin, Robin

Kevin– superb work from the heart. Semper Fi

Robin–I’m not savvy enough with this confuser–can you send this post to http://WWW.wwiaf.org.

The head of this organization is a long time friend and actually served as a company commander with me on an operation and in various other capacities over the years.

I think John McDaniel and Trad bow and Kevin may be able to support his mission to the benefit of our wounded vets.

For the rest of you check out the link -John is connecting our hero’s with the wild any support you can provide appreciated.

On a personal note John just drafted Linda last week to edit his quarterly news letter—he remembers her as the red line editor from hell8).

                  Will do, Mike.

I do know that a project like this can get expensive for Kevin, too. If anyone is inclined to help him keep these going out, please email him directly.

                    Robin

Thanks. And thank you to all the trad family who can offer whatever support your capable of.

We will be hosting (not just us) in June, 4 couples –wounded vet and their spouse or girl/boy friend for a 4 day retreat in our wonderful serene mountain area. Lots of activities planned for them plus some quite time enjoying the natural world. All free.

Damn that makes your spirit sore to see the support provided by our local businesses and friends.

Robin forgot to mention when you contact John use my name but believe nothing he tells you about me8)

                    Mike
