This is a Northwind Flatbow made by a bowyer in Amherst, N.Y. I always wanted one of his bows, and picked this one up in excellent condition, from a gentlemen that it was too heavy for him and looking for something ligther in draw weight.

Hi Patrick… a Flatbow is a longbow; however the limbs are slightly wider to compensate for the shorter length. Wider limbs provide the necessary flex, power, and strength required for the shorten length bow.

Gerry Fiegl’s bows are among the few true, under-recognized bargains out there in the world of custom bows–great bows and a great guy to do business with.

Sweet looking bow Steve. I just ordered a Predator TD today after looking around some. The first brand new bow I have bought in a long time.
