Hullo folks. Well my wife finally took the leap and ordered her first custom bow. A Storm Creek 43# 62 inch reflex deflex longbow. She decided to go with a bocote riser, bocote veneers, action bamboo cores, Elk antler tips, and a single cocabolo(sp) accent stripe.

She should recieve her new bow sometime mid August. But she is stumped about what to name it. So she asked me to poke and prod you fine individuals for suggestions. Here is a hint, her favorite critter to hunt is Elk (I’m looking at you Mr. Peterson :D.)

Lol actually SLAP STICK is pretty good, definately better than most of the names we came up with. Thanks for the input and feel free to do it again.

Well the ones that jump to mind for me are related to elk of either bugle or wallow or chirper. Always could call the bow the darling of the northwoods

Sorry bamboo but the bow has to be built first. But you can bet that I’ll post some pics of it come August.

And thanks for your suggestion Mr. Peterson. Its to early to say for sure, but “Bully Girl” is looking like a winner.

How about ‘Diana’ after Diana the huntress always pictured in mythology with a bow, deer and hounds.

      Mark.
