My son and I camped there this last weekend and had a great time…other than our leaky tent, my iPhone taking a bath (and still kicking…but not as well as it once did 😥 ). Our campground neighbors were good guys. Had a good time shooting the 2D course and the breeze with our Westerly neighbor and his grandson, and had a good time shooting the breeze with our Easterly neighbor, as well as others.

The 3D course was nice, but I liked the way the 2D course was arranged and its surroundings better.

As time goes by and I shoot more bows, the more I find I really like my Northern Mist Baraga. Steve Turay is a great guy and bowyer…even though he made fun of how awkward I looked trying to put on the back quiver I bought from him (I deserved it 😆 ). In my defense…I never used one before, and the instruction manual was no where to be found 😆 )

Tyler is improving tremendously and I couldn’t believe how close he came to hitting the 3D coyote standing at about 115 yards, on multiple occasions. He’s really enjoying these camping/shooting weekends…as am I.

Oh…and that shoot put me three arrows closer to switching to wood arrows. Three down, five to go. 😉

As I said it was a great day of shooting, My friends and I shot the 3D twice and the 2D only once! Hawley my 73 year old neighbor had emergency surgery for a burst appendix about a month ago and this is the most shooting he has done! we did not let him pull arrows or go up hills! Hawley has been shooting Trad bows for over 52 years and he was the one that mentored Limblover and got me into Trad shooting last year!I always want to shoot a Northern Mist longbow but never seem to shoot one at these events! If it wasn’t for owning 2 Bama longbows and my Silvercreek I definitly would buy one!

[I ran out of time, so I had to either start the thread, and finish later (now) or start the entire message over. I chose the former]

I knew Ripforce and his buddies were there, but, regrettably, they didn’t have the distinct pleasure of meeting me. Instead they had the even greater distinct pleasure of seeing me… and making a quick exit.

      Any others?

My Grandson (cody) and i attended the Jamboree for the first time and had and exceptional good time thanks to Patrick and Tyler being such good friendly people. We had an exceptional good time with them on and off the couse. One of the memoberable moments was when the boys talked us into shooting the 2d couse one last time saturday nite before dark set in, we climbed misery hill for the second time that day and while patrick and myself sat on the bench trying to catch our breath the boys ran up and down the hill 2 additionl times without even showing any sign of fitgue. To be young again.

      Thank you Patrick and Tyler
Thank you MTB for one fine Shoot, cant wait utill next year.

:oops: Rendezvous, you’re not suppose to say I had to catch my breath. I have a reputation, albeit a false one, I have to uphold here!

We enjoyed your company as well.
