Turtle — there have been some great posts here in the past, maybe under Big Game forum, on how to do your own public lands pig hunt. I mean, they’re running wild all over souther AZ and NM and certainly no more challenging to research and hunt than feral hogs, which for the most part and private-lands pests that require paying for access. Either way, best luck. dp

      Turtle,
Check with Kent Ostrem from Mahaska bows, he offers a Javilina hunt in West Texas from January to May. http://www.mahaskacustombows.com

      Turtle,
I’ve hunted twice with Wayne Wiemers of Alamito Guide Service out of Marfa, TX. This is a West Texas hunt, no corn, 70,000 ranch all spot and stalk. Limit is two javalina and the Texas license is over the counter for $50.00. You can contact Wayne at 432-729-3308 or 432-556-6133. I Know that Dave Doran from Archery Past bought the hunt that Wayne and TBM donated to the PBS, he is looking to put a group together for February 2011. Dave’s number is 541-388-8400.
