Some of you may have seen our post on social media and the front page of the website. We are stopping production of Traditional Bowhunter with the Dec/Jan 27 issue, which will be mailed in October. You can read David Tetzlaff’s letter at this link: https://tradbow.com/end-of-the-trail/ We thought we had someone to take over production, but it fell through. This has been a hard decision for T.J. and I, but we feel it is the best for us. We’ve been limping along for a bit, and the magazine industry just isn’t what it used to be. We decided to close while we still have the money to pay back all of the subscribers—something we have had in reserve since day 1. It’s a character thing that we really believe in.
Anyway, the website will still be up for a while, but eventually will be shutting down. Thank you all for the years of fun conversations and friendships. This group has always been very special to me and I appreciate all of you and the contributions you have made to this forum. I will miss everyone so much, but I’m looking forward to some travel and less time on the phone/computer. I’ll let you all know as we get close to shutting down the forums.
Thanks again,
Robin, aka Webmother

Very sorry to hear this. I get a few magazines but Traditional Bowhunter is the only one that I save.
As far as subscription refunds go, if I have any in my account please use it to buy a bottle of ‘campfire beverage’ and make a toast to the sunset & the good times.

Like Richard, I too am very sorry to hear this. Traditional Bowhunter is the only magazine that I receive and it will be missed.
Don’t bother sending a refund. Use what little is left of my subscription for a beverage or something else as a celebration of a long and enjoyable (by us) venture.

Thank you all. We shall drink a toast to you at our next campfire.
It’s been a wild week, for sure! T.J. and I took a few days to decompress and process all the feelings. Gotta say no phones or internet for a couple of days was kind of nice. I might get used to that! Everyone has been so kind and understanding. We already knew we had the best customers ever, y’all just proved it again.
