This was just posted in our Outdoor News Department, but I thought some of you here might want to know this information

During a recent quality inspection, Beman discovered that the structural integrity of a small percentage of Beman Bone Collector arrows may have been compromised. They are recalling arrows from three specific batch numbers shipped to retailers and distributors between August 5th and September 14th.

Only the arrows from these three batch numbers are affected:

Size 340 with batch number 107545200

Size 400 with batch number 107545100 and batch number 107747900.

If you’ve recently purchased Beman Bone Collector arrows, please Visit Beman.com to learn how to determine if your arrows are affected by the recall and what your next steps should be.

Good on Beman for fessing up that they have a problem … so long as their recall includes full refunds for all postage costs from first order to return and replacement, so that us who are impacted don’t lose a penny. Stuff happens, and no blame or problem with that. But how such missteps are dealt with tells us everything about a company. I think Beman will get it right. ttf
