BTW—I chatted with Dr. Ed and he is doing well. Had a recent surgery and is feeling much better, although still recovering. I was so glad to hear that he’s doing well. There’s a man who has dedicated many years to the study of arrow penetration and the effects of heavy arrows. Good on you Dr. Ed! I’m so happy to see his work moving forward.

Thank you Robin. Glad to hear Dr. Ed is doing better.  Agree 100% about his arrow leathality studies. It’s the most in-depth comprehensive study ever performed and for that all bowhunters should be grateful. Thanks Ed for all your time and dedication.

There is a guide on You Tube who goes by the moniker ‘The Ranch Fairy’ (as in ‘Let me wave my magic wand and make the weather good, you able to shoot straight and your hunt a success) that has several very good videos that seem to independently  reach the same conclusions as Dr. Ed.

Good stuff to watch.
