I will be shooting a #35 near center shot longbow with a 28″ draw length and a non high performance string. The tip weight will be the usual 125 grains. Desired overall arrow length will be 30″. Arrows are to be used for small game and roving.

Any ideas on which arrow types and spines would work best for this setup? Would prefer to try wood (5/16 diameter) but all suggestions are welcome.

          Wild,

I have some german pine shafts from Kustom King and I am very satisfied with the quality in the 5/16″ shafts. I use the 45-50# spine but I see they have 30-35 and 35-40 in stock.

Other than that you could probably use some aluminum 1914 or 1916’s
