        Now, don’t panic. For most of you I’m guessing this won’t change a thing.

        We have decided to go “subscription only” for our magazine distribution. The newsstand distribution model just doesn’t work in today’s world, so we have decided to use that money elsewhere to promote our great content and our wonderful advertiser-friends.

        If you have been buying TBM at the store, thank you for supporting us in that way. We hope that you’ll find a subscription to be faster, easier and less expensive. Single issues will also be available directly from us. This change will be effective October, 1, 2020 but you can sign up for a subscription any time to begin the process.

          Hello Robin,

          I currently buy from the newstand, (sort of) . I just bought the June/July issue. When is the best timing for subscribing in order to get the next issue as my first one without getting the issue I already have ? Thank you.

            Here’s the scoop. I hope it’s not too twisted! If you subscribe now, you will start with Aug/Sep. However, because of the timing of our printing and mailings, that issue will be in the store before you would get it in the mail. So really, it’s up to you. Sign up now and we mail  the Aug/Sep around the end of July (in stores mid-July), or buy Aug/Sep at the store and sign up after July 20 to start with the Oct/Nov issue, which you should get around the end of August.
