Amen my brothers. One more opportunity tomorrow. I’ll be dressed head to toe in my wool carrying my Northern Mist Whisper creeping silently through the woods of Van Buren County. Will tomorrow be the day? Will my tag be filled? Only God knows. I’ll be thankful for every moment He has given me this season. I’m a grateful man.

My season will soon draw to a close.(jan.1) I’ll be heading out to my cabin tomorrow for what may be my last chance for hard sought after stick and string venison. I wouldn’t have it any other way. When I am blessed to be able to cleanly kill a whitetail with my longbow, the feeling of exhilaration can only be understood by another traditional archer. To this day, when everything comes together and I stand over my deer, I can hardly believe what I’ve accomplished and how hard I’ve worked to make it happen. It’s what drew me into traditional archery in the first place and I pray it will continue to fuel my desires.

Steve. I too shoot a Whisper so I fully understand what you meant by your go to bow. I think a true reverse handle longbow is probably one of those undiscovered secrets out there. I’m grateful Steve still makes them.I know he loves to shoot them.

Snow transforms the landscape and sure helps with tracking deer movement. Is that a Northern Mist Whisper in your hands?
