That’s the way it is here in the Panhandle with the wind. We just go shoot. Messes with us when it ain’t blowing:D
Ralph, I’m in Clovis, NM working again and I will concede that the wind in NM and Texas is much worse than SD. At least the dust storms there are limited to where the farmers are plowing or planting, well mostly. West river does get some dust storms, but nothing so far like here. 🙂

Tradhunter– in the case of illegal ATVs, not “fines” but “drawn and quartered on the spot.” 😈 I’ve tried it but unfortunately the resulting mess is so tainted with gasoline fumes it doesn’t even make good bear bait.
Now Dave every one knows its tarp, rocks, dirt.
No help and no stories and no aubla.
in reply to: Dwyer Longbows #32838I have a 62″ Defiant, very smooth, sweet shooting bow.
And he is easy to work with.
in reply to: poll on release #32830Split fingers with ring finger in corner of mouth and cock feather just touching end of nose with thumb middle nuckle tight at bottom corner of eye socket for full draw reference. When all three are set I know my back muscles are in use and my elbow is in proper alignment for clean smooth release.
in reply to: New ideas from old sources for BHA? #32813Love them both.:lol:
Just think of the looks on road hunters faces today, getting ticket for failure to comply! 😯
in reply to: String Serving Too Thick? #26226Etter,
Nock your arrow on your bow string, hold bow so arrow is pointed down at ground/, floor if significant other isn’t around, with arrow hanging on string give a quick medium to light tap on the string just above the nock point. If the arrow pops off fairly easy your nock is good, if you have to tap it more than once or real hard then it is to tight.
Good luck

Heck Bruce, you can adopt both of us and I’d get my own kibble, and help with his. 😀 I don’t mind sharing with siblings. 😉
That works. Just promise to stay off the sofa.
No problem, I prefer recliners anyway!:D
in reply to: Art Vincent Pocket Quiver #21755That’s a great pocket quiver, I have one I got at kazoo a few years ago, and I use it for every outing, other than hunting.
You do have an eye for quality. 8)
