I recently added instructions for posting pictures to the forum. It is in the Campfire Forum or just click here. Good luck.
Now, getting the pictures on your computer is a different story…
in reply to: Posting Pictures in the Forums #13649Two suggestions come to mind. 😀
Open a second window in your browser. (Under File, New Window or New Tab.) Then use that window to open and use Photobucket and leave the TBM window open. You can go back and forth between the two to select the images for your post.
Second option, open a word processing document and paste the IMG tags there. Then you can copy all the lines of code at one time and paste them into your post.
I hope this help. If you have any more questions, please feel free to post them.
Hi Charlie,
That article, Bows of Many Colors is posted on our site. Just click the title. From there you can go to the Download Library to download the pdf instructions.

What is photobucket?
I’ll keep messing around with it to see if I can resize it.

Here is an FAQ post I wrote that gives detailed instructions for posting photos. Campfire Forum FAQ’s.
The photo galleries on our site are much easier for posting fun pictures of your time with the kids. Go to the Family and Shoots Gallery and post away. But sometimes, a photo in a post helps explain your point.
And thanks for working with the kids. It sure is a fun and rewarding way to spend a day. Watch for new articles and suggestions for ways to help a new trad shooter in The Trailhead.
in reply to: Bow length article a few issues back? #61150dpowers311 wrote: Can anyone tell me what issue it was. I have always thought but have no proof that people with shorter draw length loose out on limb action and performance compared to longer draw shooter’s.
Anyone have any thoughts on this.

If you are thinking of Fred Asbell’s article, The Case for the Short Bow it was in the Feb/Mar 08 issue. If you don’t have that issue it is available in the shopping area as a back issue or you can call Jillian at 888-828-4882 to order by phone.
in reply to: BLOOD TRAILING BASICS #51026We agree that SteveMcD’s post is a “must read” for new and experienced hunters alike. It has been posted as an article in The Trailhead department and as a Feature Article on the home page.
I have seen many great posts with helpful information for new hunters. SteveSr’s post in storing meat is also excellent! All the tips for rookies were great, keep ’em coming! Thanks to all of you for the ideas and support. It wouldn’t work without all of you.
in reply to: Help for a rookie!?!?! #35871Here is my contribution. People always ask me what certain words mean. T.J. did a great job of covering the Glossary of Archery Terms in The Traditional Bowhunter’s Handbook and he agreed to let me post it in The Trailhead. What a great guy, huh?:D
in reply to: Hickory Hedge #35026Aeronut, thank you so much for a wonderful build along. We appreciate the time you put into this project so others could see how it’s done. Good job, and you make a beautiful bow.
The new department will be called “The Trailhead”, submitted by Clay Hayes. It was a tough decision, and thanks again for all the great ideas.
Watch for Jarrod’s article to be posted sometime this weekend and a new forum heading for folks with questions. I know you all have questions and answers that will help others.
Have a great weekend! 😀
in reply to: Anniversary issue is out! #28682Sure thing Weez, but you have to come to Boise to get it! 😉
Hi Everyone,
It will be a little longer before we decide what the new department will be called. Thanks for all the great ideas and submissions. You are a very clever group. 8)
The winner of the random drawing for a Premium Membership is…drumroll please…SteveMcD. 😀
Yeah for Steve. He was one of our very first members on this new site and we are happy to upgrade his membership. For everyone else, we appreciate your participation and hope you will be able to add to the new department when we get it up and running.
Thanks again.

how many ideas are we allowed to post?? is there a limit on how many times a person may post different titles??
just wondering…
Michael
No limit, but your name only goes in the hat for the drawing once. I’ll pull this tonight so keep ’em coming. There are some great suggestions. The drawing is random for the Premium Membership and I will let you guys know the name we choose as soon as a decision is made 😀
in reply to: Anniversary issue is out! #26000Hey Weez, (and many of our advertisers) I missed a big part of the mailing list this time so it’s my fault your magazine hasn’t arrive. 😳 They will go out tomorrow and should arrive within 10 working days. I am so sorry about this. Anyone voting for me to be fired can contact T.J. 😆
in reply to: New Grizzly coming soon! #21536An imaginative and mischievous boy named Tom Sawyer lives with his Aunt Polly and his half-brother, Sid, in the Mississippi River town of St. Petersburg, Missouri. After playing hooky from school on Friday and dirtying his clothes in a fight, Tom is made to whitewash the fence as punishment on Saturday. At first, Tom is disappointed by having to forfeit his day off. However, he soon cleverly persuades his friends to trade him small treasures for the privilege of doing his work.
And this wife votes for no designs in the lawn (no lawn) and hunting is a GO! 😉
in reply to: Right or Left #21518We covered this in an early Tip newsletter. The picture might help.
