in reply to: Happy Holidays! #7652
Thanks, Steve. And Merry Christmas to you and Gail as well.
I hope you all get everything you wish for this holiday season. I will get my wish as our son and his fiance spend Christmas with us, making our little family complete. π
in reply to: Grandson's Christmas present #63476Wow. What a lucky kid. You have chosen an interesting combination of wood, bone and snake skin. I hope he appreciates it. Merry Christmas!
in reply to: traditional outfitters #58264Hi Druia,
Several outfitters/friends come to mind. Check out Weitas Creek Outfitters in Idaho, Full Draw Outfitters in Colorado and Wolf Hollow Outfitters in Utah.
I am sure there are others. Hopefully, other members have some ideas.
in reply to: Thanksgiving #36428Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.
I am so very thankful for God, my family, my country and all of you. I have the best job in the world because of you and I do appreciate that.
Don’t eat too much! π
in reply to: All Ladies Hunt #30644Hi Jesse,
Based on the response in this forum I’d say there aren’t many. π― The group at PBS numbered about 30 but I doubt that many could make it all at the same time. So we are looking for a place that could maybe support 10 (?). Is North Idaho open? It would be fun to showcase our home state.
Nice to see you back on the forum. Hope all is well.
in reply to: Testing an iPad version of TBM #27654Hey now, don’t get carried away. I have just enough knowledge to be dangerous and I scared myself just making a pdf version that worked. I think building an app is way out of my league.
What does your avatar’s shirt say? π

I have nothing against “e-zines” but nothing can ever take the place of my beloved “analog” reading materials.
Rest assured we have no plans to go digital only. A growing number of our readership want the magazine on electronic readers, but the large majority of them don’t even use or like computers. The digital is in addition to the print version. You are welcome to chose the version that suits you best. π
in reply to: Veterans Day #22822Hi Dan. I wouldn’t be so hard on the folks here. Just because they didn’t reply, doesn’t mean they don’t agree with you, or they don’t support veterans. Many here are veterans and we have a really great group. I read posts all the time, and I’m sure others do too, that I don’t reply to. Everyone is entitled to browse and participate in this forum on their own terms. Please don’t take offense with that.
Thanks,
in reply to: Veterans Day #20619And a big thanks to you too, Dan. We sure appreciate the sacrifice of all of our servicemen and women and their families. We honor them and keep them in our prayers every day.
in reply to: Grns. per inch #18438Fletcher, how does grains per inch compare to grains per pound of bow weight? I don’t hear of grains per inch very often but I’ve seen the standard 9 or 10 grains per pound of bow weight. Can you help me understand the difference? π
in reply to: What's your favorite bowhunting song? #16263This is great! Good job, Cottonwood π
in reply to: Is there a classified section on this forum #11648No worries, friend. I was not offended at all. I like your humor. And I hope this change makes the Classified section easier to find and more popular for our members to use.
The worst part of placing a classified ad is the photo. πΏ If anyone wants to place an ad and has trouble with the photo just email it to me at webmaster@tradbowcom and I’ll make it work.
Cheers!
in reply to: Is there a classified section on this forum #10689THANKS STEVE. I’LL SEE WHAT I CAN DO. HOW ABOUT IF I PUT A LINK UP IN THAT GREEN BAR? π
And just to be clear, this was a pretty easy fix but yelling at me won’t always get your way. In many cases I’m limited to what the software package will allow. Don’t think that yelling at me is the way to get things done. π
in reply to: New issue out? #9515maineac wrote: Has everyone gotten their new issue of Traditional Bowhunter? Trying to figure out if mine is on the way, or if my subscription needs to be renewed. To the credit of this fine publication I don’t get a renewal notice every month like I do for all my other subscriptions, but I may have missed one that was sent due to renewal notice burnout.
I am traveling but Jillian is in the office and she can tell you the status of your sub or send a replacement. Call her toll free at 1-888-828-4882.
