in reply to: Doc? David? Everyone? You seen these? #20086
These broadheads are made by Joe Furlong, a custom bowyer who made the Black Rhino youth bows and more recently the Bowtote. He’s a great guy. The new ad for this broadhead is in the next issue. I don’t know any more than you guys about the broadheads, but I do know Joe and his wife, Janice, are good people who have been involved in traditional archery for a long time.

The first owner was Blacky Schwarz and I think I remember that he did a “Bow Report” on this bow a few years back–does anybody know which TBM issue that might be? β
Hi Huntryx. Always good to see you on the site. π
The bow review of the Morrison Shawnee was in the Apr/May 05 issue. I don’t see one on the Cheyenne unless they are the same π― Blacky posts these on his web site, http://www.bowreports.com if you can’t find your back issue.

And I now realize I’ve got to pay closer attention to your advertisers’ offerings — I was missing a fair bit of detail while reading the paper version.
You know…Premium Members get this with every issue. Just sayin’ π
If you click on the advertiser’s web address it will take you to their site. I haven’t figured out how to make those links highlighted, but they should work.
in reply to: TBM Aug/Sept 2011 issue #56320I know it is hard to wait, but it should be arriving any day.
To our friends in Canada, I’m told that your magazines will go into the system by today at the latest and it might be a while before they get delivered. π₯
I have decided to make this issue available to all members in a pdf version. Use this link to go to the Download Library to get the Aug/Sep 2011 iPad version. At least you can read it on your computer while waiting for the paper copy to arrive. You do not need to have an iPad to read it, but you will probably need Adobe Acrobat Reader or some other form of pdf reader. All I ask is that you don’t send it to everyone you know. π

Looks like August 12-14. More details are on our calendar from their ad in the magazine.

They need to add a “Like” button on this forum. That made me laugh! π
in reply to: New guy..sort of #51827Hi Darryl! Great to see you here. I always enjoy your work in TBM and congrats on being added to the masthead as a regular contributor. Long overdue in my mind!
in reply to: TBM Aug/Sept 2011 issue #50287Thanks! I will pass that along. It is definitely a group effort and a job we all love. π
in reply to: Info on tuning your bow #49753Hi Eric,
I guess my question is are you tuning it for brace height/noise or for arrow flight? The article Tuning 101 covers bare shaft tuning for flight issues. Maybe some of the other folks here have ideas to help.
in reply to: Idaho Trad Bowhunters – huh? #49730That is a different group entirely. Idaho State Bowhunters is the mixed modern and trad group. Smithhammer was referring to the Idaho Traditional Bowhunters.
in reply to: Idaho Trad Bowhunters – huh? #49030As far as I know they are still an active group. I am not involved with their Board but I’ll ask around.
I know that volunteer groups are not always timely about processing checks, but 5 months is a bit extreme. π―
in reply to: Looking for Seal Skin #43896Hello Kendean and welcome to Tradbow.com.
I was thinking maybe Alaska Bowhunting Supply might know where you could get some seal skin. Sorry I can’t be more helpful. π
in reply to: Bow-ready in 8 weeks article #42084Red Dwarf, thanks for the reminder. I have posted that article in the Download Library. Click here to access it. The file is available to all members. As Don mentioned, there are no photos to accompany the article but you might try searching the internet, dailyburn.com or exercise.about.com to find examples of these exercises.
Take care,
in reply to: Sorry had to brag #37209No problem FUBAR. Congrats to your daughter. π
in reply to: Browning stickers #34166Hi Lowcountry. Welcome to the site! π
Sorry it’s been so quiet around here. I was hoping someone would pop in to answer your question. I suggest you PM droptine59 and see if he can help you locate the stickers you are looking for.
Take care,
