Sorry it didn’t work out, but that’s how it goes sometimes. Even living in Idaho doesn’t guarantee an elk in the freezer. I was worried about you when I heard an elk bowhunter was bitten by a grizzly. She found the elk before the hunter did and was guarding her meal. The hunter was bit in the shoulder, but fared pretty well overall. He was from Michigan.

Yes Ramon. I didn’t mean to leave his name out… Wow, you must know everybody ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

I have met a lot of great people in my job, and I certainly don’t remember all of them, but Ramon and Maria are unforgettable! They do work very hard for that club, as do all the folks there. We really enjoyed our visit to NC a few years ago. Please tell them hello from Robin and T.J. ๐Ÿ˜€

in reply to: new issue of TBM ? #46595

Hi. The Oct/Nov issue should just be hitting the newsstands this week. Each store/distributor is different, so some might be there now and some might not be there until next week. We have no control over that. I hope you find it soon. We also sell individual issues, but it would have to go through the mail…

Congratulations William and Brennan! Thanks again, Troy and all who added to the package. I’m sure your generosity will be rewarded over and over as we teach these qualities to the next generation. ๐Ÿ˜€

Hey Chris. Glad to see you back! The video is great, as usual. Still in school or did you graduate already? ๐Ÿ™‚

Codger, first congrats on the new bow! Tim does make a fine bow. Now for the pictures.

If you can save the picture at a file size of medium and file quality as low, that should give you an image that is about the right size.

If ya get frustrated, you can always email the photos to me at webmaster@tradbow.com and I’ll post them in your thread.

Well, all of those plans sound wonderful. While all y’all are out in the woods, and things are a bit quiet here, I’m going to spend 10 days in Hawaii with some friends. Poor planning on my part ended up overlapping T.J.’s hunt in Quebec, but it couldn’t be helped. ๐Ÿ˜†

Ocean breezes, palm trees, snorkeling…you guys have fun hunting! ๐Ÿ˜€

R2 did a great Tip of the Week on using camo tape on the limbs. Here’s the link. I think you can even get this tape in camo pattern, and someone suggested a veterinarian’s office might carry it. Or you can paint it yourself, but the tape only sticks to itself and leaves very little residue on the bow, which cleans up easily if you decide to remove it. I hope that helps.

Wow, Troy. That’s very generous of you. I don’t have any problem with it but I’d like to see the conditions. Would you please PM me before you post them.

Tailfeather, they were just mailed on the 15th and can take up to 10 days for delivery (longer for foreign magazines). ๐Ÿ˜ฏ Don’t be stalking the poor mail carrier. 8) You should have it by the end of August, hopefully sooner.
