I’m okay with Forresterwoods posting about infomational/educational stuff on heavy wood arrows as long as it’s not an informercial. π
in reply to: Memorial Day reflections #37528I come from a long line of family who served their country, including my husband. Thankfully, none of them paid the ultimate price for our freedom, but this weekend I pray for the families who did lose a loved one in war. Words can’t express my condolences to them.
in reply to: What ya got goin? #26828T.J. and I leave tonight for two weeks in Costa Rica. We stay in a little surf/fishing town called Nosara on the Nicoya peninsula. I can’t unplug completely; they do have internet service, so I’ll still check in on you guys between cervezas and long walks on the beach. π
Other trips this year include the Compton Rendezvous and (for the first time in a very long time) I will be at the ETAR (Denton Hill) this year with our new Advertising Manager. It’s been a wild ride here lately, and it’s gonna be a busy summer, so I’m really looking forward to these two weeks in the tropics.
in reply to: Happy Mother's Day to our own Web MOM #21199Thank you all for the wonderful Mother’s Day wishes! You guys rock! With all of the “hats” I wear in my wonderful, crazy, job, this one is by far my favorite. It’s a pleasure to be “Mom” to such a great family.

Good story of goat hunting on the Na Pali coast. Might not have all the nuts and bolts practical info you need, but it gives a good idea of the terrain and what’s involved.
I’d appreciate it if you share any other info about hunting on Kaui that you come across in preparation for your trip, and a trip report after. π
Thanks, Bruce! I missed that one, but it’s an excellent resource. Let’s see if I can post it here. If the text isn’t large enough to read, please email me for a pdf copy.

in reply to: Hunting Kauai? #10588I found one article about hunting on Kauai: Aug/Sep 08 Traditional Destinations, Kauai, The Garden Isle by Steve Hohensee. Unfortunately, I don’t have it in digital format. π₯ I can probably scan it tomorrow and post it here.
in reply to: New digital format is a winner! #51448Thanks! The new software upgrade was pretty cool, and I’m glad you like it. π

in reply to: D97 vs B50 #46644Here’s a link to our tip on serving a bowstring so it doesn’t come unraveled. Coming Unraveled
External links are okay if they are to a YouTube video or an instructional site. I’d just prefer to not have links to other forum discussions. You could also send that link in a Private Message.
Thanks!
in reply to: Signs of Spring #38647A sure sign of spring in the high desert of Southwest Idaho is the Western meadowlark. A while back I ran across words to the meadowlark call, but I can’t find it now. Bruce, have you ever heard of such a thing?
No spring peepers here. In fact, I had to look that up to see what you were talking about. I thought “peepers” were tourists who go to New England to see the fall colors. I guess those would be fall peepers. π
I’m glad the snow’s melting a bit and you are able to get outside. Give my best to the girls.
in reply to: Outdoor Backstops #37142πΏ Dang gremlins! That is one thing that I have no control over, and Murphy’s Law of Webmotherhood says as soon as I hit send on a support ticket the site starts working again.

I know I could get Ken and Striker bows to put name on shirt.
Traditional Bowhunter Mag interested!?8)
Would a window decal work? Ha ha!
I’ll never be able to look at these t-shirts again without laughing. The reviews are priceless, and I only got through a few of them.
“When I put this T-shirt on for the first time, my wife left me! Thank you, Three Wolf Moon T-Shirt!”
in reply to: Anyone Experimented with EAOC? #345848) Don’t make me regret this…
The video can stand for now, but it cannot start a “discussion” of political views, no matter how civil.
