Hey all. Ernest here. Born in New Mexico, Lived in CO.,,NM.,,Arizona (home base) Now temp in Co. again untill the Ma-inlaw goes under. My first deer hunt was with my dad, up on Mt. Taylor, NM. I was 6ys and he was pulling a Bear bow at 75#(1960). At present just cut some salt cedar sprouts to make some more primitave arrows. Pulling a osage stick bow at 59@ 28. I am watching the magpies chase each other while it is snowing out the back window. So, new to this forum but not new to Archery. Don’t forget that when your law makers are done with guns, they will be after our bows and arrows, and knives.

I don’t get to hunt many White Tails. but in Mule deer country, Urine from humans dosn’t seem to bother them. I once hunted with a female who would pee close the tree stand. What I did notice was when the temp. got higher during the day, the spot would attract Bee’s. When some cow elk came in that didn’t bother them either. Since I have trapped fur, I know for a fact you don’ want to pee close to a set. I would think you don’t want to pee out of you stand, simply because you don’t want one of those curley hairs falling on the ground. That is going to bust you. My family uses their hair to keep deer outa their gardens.
