For the input,however, I was able to figure out the problem myself tonight while running shafts. It seems that the blanks were not straight when I ran them through the jig causing a wobble which made the jig take off more wood towards the front of the shaft.The good news is this is not so bad because it just created a slightly tapered shaft. As long as I can straighten them I have an added bonus. By the way, the Veritas “arrow maker” is offered by Lee Valley Tools out of Canada.
