      If you look up the Cobra I in the Browning Catalogs from ’68 to ’72 on this site you will see the recommended brace height vary a little from one year to another but always with 7 and 1/2 in the sweet spot.

          I also have a 45# Cobra l that I use as my 3D bow.

          @Brent – I am curious to know the height of your nocking point. My nocking point is so high that it took me years to find it and accept that it was almost 1.5″. It looks weird on such a short bow. I suspect that the bow has negative tiller caused by de-lamination of the lower limb. Not only because of the extreme high nocking point but also because every time I shoot the bow I smell burned wood – like someone just lighted a match. Probably caused by friction between the laminate.

          Except from that I love the bow and I think the smell of burned wood is a cool feature.
