      so sorry but I was disappointed too, to find out that it’s not a bear bow from the 70’s but a Shakespeare Necedah model 26 the one that say 1972 in the picture. and the first bow is also a Shakespeare wonder bow model 400. here are some pictures of both of them from Shakespeare’s site that I found.

              look up http://www.binghamprojects.com and you find all the info you need about building a recurve or a long bow and have fun
