Andy does a outstanding job on the arrows he sells. So far a pretty durable arrow. Well they seem to work well with my longbow. Really happy with the results with it .great match . This longbow I have is a performer, it’s fast and accurate. The fastest I have seen or shot 52lbs  @28 .out performs alot of recurves at the same draw weight. Limbs are bamboo and yew with Makassar ebony riser ,handle. It is a Wes Wallace  ,Royal 66″ .

Never messed with any hickory shafts. Never shot any hard wood  arrows. Would be interesting, well ended up go back to my aluminum arrows, gone have to mess with them some more. Tried the tooth pick ,seem to improve.

I hear you ,so far I don’t have really anything bad to say about spruce arrows. Shot them for awhile and seem to be a great arrow. Will see here farther down the road ,how they hold up.

Have a older blacktail, about 96 , uses  dacron. Should shoot those Sitka spruce arrows good , I will find out tomorrow hopefully.

I hear you there . I am constantly checking my arrows. That is all I shoot is wood arrows. They to just as accurate as aluminium and carbon for me. Maybe not for other people.  Wood bow shooting wood arrows off the shelf. That’s a great experience. Very enjoyable.
