What happened to the berries and deer?:D
You would know, Ralph, since you sent it to me!
That weren’t no bow I cropped out…just the universal sign language sign for ‘You’re # 1!”
Kinda accentuates how pug ugly that ole critter’s mug really is
Innocent I am, just shootin’
in reply to: Scouting and picking blackberries #14968in reply to: Feather Curiosity… #14965I worked with lots of electrical engineers. They always blamed it on Vegas. Or R2:wink:
Just curious but if you increase distance does the difference of impact increase?
Might tell you something. Wouldn’t me tell anything though cause increasing distance spreads groups. Just an R2 thing :D…..
R2+D=>G.
I think probably R2 the variable in that formula.

in reply to: What ya got goin? #12788in reply to: Scouting and picking blackberries #11798Funny Doc, when I have bow in hand no critters seem to worry about me either.
When I was a lad I had a little wooden bow my neighbor had given me along with a handful of arrows. I was in his berry patch “borrowing” some berries when I shot a cottontail rabbit with that little bow. That’s when I became hooked on bowhunting.
Must been something in the berries.:D
in reply to: Robertson 'Primal Styk' #11560Me too curious Steve. 🙂

Your fishing rod “bows” with a fish on the end of the line right. 😀 The bow of the rod!!!

in reply to: Primitive archery #9570Now seriously, when man first attempted this, he might have thought he had better chances of success dealing with the alpha predator rather than the starving scavengers. I imagine there be no mercy from a pack of hyenas or such.

I’ve not shot any real short bows though, like 54″ and shorter. I can see where there may be some complications.
Let me amend this a bit.
I do have the old Shakespeare 54″ solid fiberglass bow but it’s 55# and I can’t shoot it well enough to make any finger pinch assessments.
I can tell you though that it ain’t as smooth as a glass laminated bow. :)It stacks rather quickly.
