Every drop counts. Or is that dollar?
Didn’t bother me feathers none though.

Good shot.
in reply to: Signs of Spring #41843in reply to: Outdoor Backstops #41029That’s cause R2 is still young. 🙄
in reply to: What ya got goin? #39958Looks like a great day, and great company.
Glad you had a great day.
Today you say it’s snowing uh? That’s OK. I think the whole left half of the United States needs moisture this year.

…I’ll hold an umbrella over ya!
That’s what those wheel boys do, right Doc? Umbrella to shed the rain and block the wind.
Come on over Bruce. With my three set ups I can usually have one of them not too windy.
Don’t know why 2nd pic disappeared but maybe it’s there now.
Doc you welcome too buddy. Between the three we ought to be able to figure out which end to use.
in reply to: Outdoor Backstops #39660Hey guys, I have three set ups in my backyard, the first is like 13 paces and I can shoot out to 20 paces at an angle. Not the dog!!!!
The second two, the pig I can shoot out to 25 yds, and my poor little Texas head-tail deer (droopy rebuilt)out to 44 yds.
The black behind some of them is conveyor belt I scrounged from a power plant.
That’s tough stuff. Takes a grown man and lots of kind words to cut and handle that stuff.
My 6′ fence has had it’s share of arrow wounds, guaranteed.
I’ve nothing but an alley with sheep and goat pasture behind me and the critters ain’t out there destroying the pasture, yet.
If anybody wants, I can get some bindweed starter sent to them if they want something to grow and cover their targets. D..n stuff.

Robins, geese… Now we need to hear the spring peepers…
Audrey just asked: “Do they have them everywhere?”
I responded: I don’t think R2 has them in the desert, but we can ask?
Hey Grumpy and girls, we have frogs and toads around here but not near as many frogs of course since we live in semi arid country.
I had to look up ‘peepers’. Cool. I even heard the sound they make and I’ve heard it in other places I lived and visited. Just didn’t know they were called peepers.
Lots of toads, my dog found out at a young age that they’re not chew toys. They make dogs foam at the mouth big time. Taste awful too I guess.
We also have horned lizards, which the whole world except scientist call horny toads.
They have a defense mechanism that I don’t know why it would work on other critters but with humans I can see why. They do this blood thing and humans, especially girls, get them out of their hand real quick
Hope your spring and summer come soon. I know y’all are tired of snow.
It’s my turn to grump and also be cautious and very aware when I get out and about because it’s wildfire season here. I be way afraid of those things.
Be well, Ralph

Good luck
Maybe that’s my problem, I only have a 6′ fence and I can’t hit. 🙂
in reply to: turbulator variation? #37321Is turbulation treatable? 🙄
in reply to: Noteable Quotes! #37021I like that one Bruce. I agree.
Too bad it don’t work so well when I open my mouth or hit send. 😳
in reply to: turbulator variation? #36767I tried some once that I cut from reflective tape and I could see no difference. I wasn’t have any flight problems anyway so all I did was make more visible arrows to find after dark when I was still looking for my arrows.
I needed some to shoot the next day:D:D:D
