Next time I find a bow and some arrows laying about, I’ll be sure and get’em to you for safe keeping. 😉
Fair enough:?
Be well,

in reply to: Apr/MayTBM editorial #51599in reply to: What ya got goin? #40643Bruce, shooting a couple of my Yellowjacket bows, 46#_47# mostly. Getting arthritis, bow hand, in the base of my thumb where that deer antler and I got crosswise a couple of years ago, makes the 50+ #’ers tough on my hand in pretty short order. You’ve seen the pics of that wound so you know where I’m coming from.
We all have tendency to think shoulder and rotorary cuff problems but stop and think how much pressure is being applied heel of your bow hand.
I don’t feel it when drawing the bow but the sudden release of pressure at the loose of the string, sometimes whoa. Dropped the bow a couple of times.
So I be of muscular physique with an Achilles heel??
in reply to: What ya got goin? #34854What’s wrong with a couple of seconds? 😀 How many seconds did Howard Hill hold? Does Brian Ferguson? Did Fred Bear? You don’t see them holding back and thinking things over.. I think you’re fixin to be spot on before much longer.
That’s doing great Bruce…
Y’all have any decent snow up there in ID this year?
One blizzard here way back when and not a drop that counts since then. Dry as a popcorn… you know. 😀
in reply to: To Foot or not to Foot #34029Why not, with a little entertainment too 😀 Got lots of country in which to put our little footed shafts. 🙄
Footed shaft testing grounds………easy, go somewhere else to shoot……
in reply to: To Foot or not to Foot #10469Hey Dr. Ed, you just sayin you never know where you might just “??put your little foot, put your little foot, put your little foot right down”??? :D:D
in reply to: Litter Bugs #8960Around here in Texas, that’s “just my stuff” that’s layin around in the yard. 🙄

Have fun!
in reply to: Window and arrowrest #20742I have leather on most, a couple with the soft part of Velcro.
Keeping the arrow as close as possible to center is not always the key. Sometimes a bit of spacer behind the side plate and/or under the rest can make all the difference in the world.
How do you use hare hair? Or rabbit better? 😀
in reply to: Litter Bugs #18858Jack and Jill went up the hill
to fetch a bottled water..
Jack fell down
And broke his crown
Jill drank the water
Threw the bottle on the ground
Before she tumbled after..
in reply to: What ya got goin? #16522Hey Bruce, golly, glad you’re still around. I was wondering where you trekked off too. Missed ya.
Keep working at it, just take your time.
P.S. How’s the bike? 😀

in reply to: Apr/MayTBM editorial #55869What I’m saying applies to what Don is talking about, children not being allowed to run and be children, all they know is the apps on their tech devices. What light have they got to reach for?
The press along with a lot of local societies deny the parents the opportunity to let kids grow and learn from real life experiences.
Thinking on it, there’s areas where I can’t blame anybody for keeping their children in and wonder why the children would want out.
Sure I lived in a world of more childhood freedom, also stricter rules that came with corporal punishment. That’s the way it was.
We need to adapt, try our best to instill good in our children but we ain’t gonna make it like it used to be.
I actually don’t care for that, I just try to make today better.
in reply to: Apr/MayTBM editorial #54159Maybe for some that know not which track to follow without their tech in hand?
