They do’em in digital? I don’t do Latin and have no desire to learn. I may shoot a longbow but I don’t dwell in the past.

Besides I hunt from see to cain’t see or I get worn out so why let time be a worry. Gut tells me time to eat, dusk tells me time to quit.

I’ll worry about time when other things going on.

Ha, bought an inexpensive watch, digital, for my target setup and 3D shoot trip. The job and country I felt might be conducive to cell phone loss or abuse.

It took me two days to start looking at my wrist again instead of reaching for my phone to see the time.

Also had a dozen mini strokes checking to see if my phone was in my pocket and it wasn’t. Gahhh. We’re creatures of habit!!!!

Was fun, I came across a group of 5 or 6 muley does. They never spooked but I gave them no reason to.

It amazes me that some animals seem to sense the intent of other animals.

We humans do that to an extent also methinks just not so much as prey animals.

Perhaps we have an increase in the use of those senses if we get into a situation where we might be harmed or eaten.:?

Seems a waste of effort to buy hay. Shoot to miss your backstop, Chase arrows in the woods during hunting season. Twofold effort then.

Gunny sacks filled with plastic works. Just takes maintaining now and then and new gunny sack put on over old.

Some have a ready supply of burlap bags. Mine cost $1 or so at local farm and ranch store.

I need to hit my target cause if not my fence is hard on wood arrows at times.

Good I have fence or Jose Goate out back wouldn’t be happy with accidentally arrowed goats or sheep (I prefer mutton to goat) 😉
