        😁Hey mom, thanks..

I went stumping at the range yesterday.  Beautiful day it was with light wind.

I was diddling with shooting 3 under. Not bad with some practice methinks. One thing though, I’ll think twice before again I try to use my split shooting tab for a three under shot.  The string ate on the tip of my middle finger, ouch…make one do like the jerking the trigger deal.

Today, dang, 30+ mph sustained, 50+ mph gusts.

Glad I got all my misses in yesterday so I don’t have to mess with’em today.

Of course yesterday I could only blame them on moi, no “d*** wind” excuses. 😎

Have fun with the ducks Steve… no thongs…………can’t even visualize………….

I was thinkin about quail hunting today but there’s a bad guy running around my hunting area shooting at sheriff deputies and people.I’ll wait til they catch him before I traipse up there.

I’m too old to play the Lone Ranger…

I for one appreciate Clay posting the article and the appreciative comments on the blog seemed to say such also.

I saw no one thanking Clay for his writing it on the page I read.

Perhaps I read not far enough?

Or maybe I should read words into what is written like so much is done anymore.

Thanks to Clay for making me aware and thanks to Chuck for his enjoyable article…

                Nice pics.

We got 3-4″ of snow on top of the ice.  Was pretty “slickery” for awhile.

Squirrels are hard enough on arrows without the added problem of snow.  At least to me that be a truth.

Getting the moisture but to ease the boredom I thought I’d hang a few icicles out to dry.

I.m glad it’s not as icy here as it is NE of here.  Y’all be really careful would ya.

                    Welcome back Jim…….

I’m hoping we really get some of the promised moisture that the weather geeks are promising in the next few days. I was out to the range today and it is so very dry.

It’s the only thing green in the panhandle other than the yucca’s… and one dandelion that has survived twice below 0* temperatures.

You pointed out some good points there Steve..

I’ve never seen much point to being too political, just be blunt and get to the point of the matter.

I tried making some trade points once a long time ago.  The didn’t look bad at all but hafting them to be true with the shaft, whoa.. I got lucky on one of them and it flew like a dream for two shots.  The second shot, I got brave and flung it for a distant shot to really observe arrow flight. It flew beautifully to arrow never, ever land.  That’s that never, ever find place…

When you live in the windiest city in the US, according to the Weather Bureau, you get waggles along with wiggles.

Steve, lost perhaps but never forgotten.  Always on the wish list.

It’s winter so did you check your anti-wiggle?
