      I started bringing a digital watch backpacking as an alarm, instead of bringing an alarm clock. I don’t like wearing the watch in the woods though, because it can get snagged on brush and that bothers me.

                I was told by a friend that string silencers absorb some of the shock when the string gets pulled tight and this can help the bow and string last longer. Any thoughts on that?

                            Kind of funny cause he made it himself.

                            But seriously have you seen the “Airbow” that is introduced to our hunting culture now? Not sure if it’s been up here on this sight yet. Basically its a gun that shoots arrows with pressurized air. Go to their website and they provide a form to send to your legislatures to have it included in the archery season.

                            Ridiculous.

                                  If you’re shooting aluminums go for 1716s if you’re shooting wood I don’t know.
