Reasons for shooting whatever is strictly personal but the main reason for me is FUN FUN FUN…….. You must shoot regularly to become proficient..great fun. Most Trad people eventually end up making alot of their own equipment..everything from the practice range to bows and arrows, strings quivers …the works. All great fun. Then the relationships you develope with like minded hunters and shooters always leads to great fun. The more involvement the more you get out of it. All “work” becomes labor of love.

Is not the sky a father and the earth a mother and are not all living things with feet or wings or roots their children?

Beautiful work. It must be very satisfying to be able to turn out that beautiful and varied body of work. Here’s an FYI for you though…… Ijust purchased a new SPINRITE crester from Sparrow Designs LLC. and you want to talk about a device that is precise? You can literally reproduce a barcode onto an arrow shaft and have it read accuratly on a store barcode reader or the reader AP on your cellphone. Again, great work on those shafts and look forward to seeing some more of your work

The multi hunter camps are fun for what they are but as a true outdoor experience give me the solo trip every time. Hunting alone is a major part of the reason I hunt at all. THE BOW, ARROWS , and THE JOURNEY, make hunting what it really is. A chance for introspection, honing your woodcraft and the opportunity to see nature as it really exists from day to day is all good reason to hunt alone.
