Yeah, but have you done any REAL research on it or are you just guessing? 😆
in reply to: efoc vs arrow integrity #62465Thanks Dr Ashby! You know, I actually read through that entire thread during its making. I just re-read it, and it got me thinking some more. BUT, I was really just thinking of inserts, in and of themselves…for lazy people (like me:oops::D).
Inserts are relatively short, and none of them have tapered ends, to my knowledge. So the idea of a long, tapered insert just popped in my head. Similar to what happened when Isaac Newton discovered gravity, Galileo invented the telescope, Einstein came up with the Theory of Relativity…and Al Gore invented the Internet. :D:wink:

From this, I gather that a 5″ gradually tapering insert would be absolutely ideal. Not that I could make something like that anyway, but hypothetically speaking, if that would be ideal, what should it be made of?

😆 That’s awesome! Right you are. There’s alot of Michiganders on this forum. I wonder how many people are wondering what in the world we are talking about.

Right about here:
in reply to: Starting out #54471Glad to help. I recall reading somewhere on this forum that some guys use and really like ghillie suits. I’ve never used one, but I am intrigued by the idea. I almost exclusively use wool or fleece because they are quiet. PERSONALLY, I stay away from cotton as much as possibly because when it gets wet it loses it’s ability to maintain warmth, and doesn’t dry as quickly as fleece.
Here’s a thread about rain gear:

Oh well, all the exciting stuff seems to happen when I’m not looking…
Oh yea, I’m back, thanks for asking 😯
Well…So many people were concerned about your absence that all we were doing was posting updates on your where-abouts or, more precisely…where you were not. “Nope, he’s not here” can only be posted so many times. It reached a crescendo when someone wrote out your eulogy. I think it was at that point that Robin decided we needed to move on, and deleted the entire sub-forum. I thought it was kinda like throwing out the baby with the bath water, but she’s the boss.
WELCOME BACK! 😀

DON’T get caught up thinking you need all sorts of equipment to be a good hunter. Focus on learning the habits and the habitat of your quarry.in reply to: Is some pickin' okay here? #54317Chris Shelton wrote: Plus that and I am like a professional editor:lol:
Awesome! Then I’ll send you a video of me playing too. What we’re going for is my playing should appear as good as Brad Paisley’s!:lol:
in reply to: Starting out #54303You might get better responses in “The Trailhead”. (I’m Joking! I saw your post in the “Big Game” sub-forum, and couldn’t help myself 🙂 )
Welcome! Give us a little more of an idea where you’re starting from. Were you previously using a compound? If so, how long?

Mark.
I totally forgot GTA’s (I’m going to stubbornly stick to calling you that) youtube name is GUITARarcher. George should send GTA a copy of himself playing and GTA could use some of his video editing magic to merge his playing with George’s, as though they’re playing together. That’d be cool! I’ve seen others do it.
in reply to: Keepin' It Trad… #51864It’s fine with me. I never used it anyway.:D
