I bet they are very ‘taxing’!:lol:
in reply to: Does this happen to you? Or am I the only one! #37496The main reason I tweak is my stupid glasses! 👿
When I started wearing them about 10 years ago they became a real nuisance in that my stance put the edge of the glasses right on my target, which of course makes it difficult for me to see the target clearly. I have to force myself to turn my head to the left slightly, which is still taking some getting used to. I’ve tried other anchor points, but they all have had their issues. So I’m back to the most solid of anchor points…and I’m staying there! Most all other tweaking I did over the years was compound arrow launcher specific, so they are no longer issues. :D:D
in reply to: "Wow, now THAT'S a VERY old bow!" #36902Usually, I get one of two responses:
“I used to shoot one of those a long time ago. I’ve been thinking about getting one again.”
or
“I’ve been considering getting one of those”in reply to: carbon vs aluminum #36826Definitely! There’s no way that should have done them in. Heck, I’ve shot mine into rocks, trees, steel plates. Pretty much everything but what I bought them for…deer!:lol:
If you saw all the torture tests I’ve put my carbon arrows through, I can assure you, you would also think they are indestructible. I’m not exagerating one bit.

My point, exactly!

😯 Good thing she became your ex, before you mated!:lol::lol:

I’m sure you are, but I expected that of many, so I wrote:

in reply to: carbon vs aluminum #35618😯 If that truly is how they broke, you need to call ABS and tell them.

Great Horned, I presume. That’s another one for me. I’ve never watched one catch prey, which would be sweet. I know hawks, amongst other birds, even turkeys (I imagine), have to be careful where they roost because of ’em.

🙂 You’re welcome. A cross between Robin Hood and Back To The Future 😆

Does it taste like chicken? 😆
in reply to: My Java Man Elkheart: The Four Year Wait Is Over #33721I thought it was pretty funny that Steve shipped it, “put together”, considering it’s a takedown.
In my opinion, my other Baraga is prettier, but I prefer the darker limbs for practical reasons (hunting!)
