Love the pics! Looks like Mars to me though being an Eastern boy…
in reply to: Hello, newbie here #43189Welcome from the Great Lakes state of Michigan!
That’s really neat. Thanks for posting.
in reply to: Apr/MayTBM editorial #22523I loved getting dirty…and strong…and fast (I still remember the feeling:))and not even knowing it was all happening and generally good for you. Remember the fights with sticks and if there was a locust branch you could break off you usually won! As natural as it was there must be a positive in todays’ world in a lot less eyes lost from bb gun wars now..but I wouldn’t trade that free range youth for anything. Then there were the “locals vs the migrant worker” fights in the tobacco fields of my youth..and so on and on the benefits of a life less supervised..
in reply to: A new path #22246Congrats to you! That kind of a living is good for the soul.
in reply to: Litter Bugs #10533Very true!
in reply to: Litter Bugs #51548Remember back in the 60’s and 70’s and I’m sure before then too…that the farther N or more rural you got the more junk in the front yards you’d see. Still do but I don’t think as much as back then? Is it still that way in parts?
in reply to: Hello everyone. #51504Hey Mazie – welcome!
in reply to: What ya got goin? #51484Yes, welcome back Bruce. I do love seeing the “old regulars” come back. Anyone else have a harder time reading what they’re typing here? Contrast is low as I type in the reply box.
in reply to: I've been gone too long… #44741Good to hear from you. I’ve noticed a few “drop offs” here from time to time (myself included) and such is normal, but always wishing you and the extended tribe peace and good health. Hope 2016 is a good year for you.
in reply to: What ya got goin? #11388That’s exceptionally stunning. Thanks for posting!

in reply to: RIP my trusty Shrew Classic Hunter #26525Sorry for the loss but glad nothing worse happened!
in reply to: Your most memorable misses…. #31528Buck of my life. Magazine cover rack. TALL and wide. I shot under it at maybe 12′ on 10/9/09 from a tree stand. I delude myself I’m over it. This was on heavily hunted State Land near home. It was a gift and I blew it. I was inconsolable to my wife when I got home.
