Love it! How long and in what temps do you stay in this rig? You would’ve made the Spartans proud:D!

The mention of lack of sleep, man, that’s the tough part! Nobody gets enough anymore to begin with…I save up vacation time for this part of the year and I come back to work exhausted and I feel like I’m sleeping in!

The one up there about wolves……great:? Mostly me, myself and I in the NW Wi. Woods in a month. Gotten a glimpse or two up there and certainly howling. I like being at the top of the food chain not being digested:)

My 2 cents (and in judgement on no one) is preserve hunting is another one of those things crawling around under the Capitalist log. That’s not an anti-system statement either – roll over any system and there are it’s decay organisms. Challenging hunts build character, too much missing in this age of rampant consumerism.

Around home most of October then to the Upper Peninsula of Mi. for a week vacation with the bow. Day after Thanksgiving I’ll leave for the hills of western Ma. where I’m from and hunt a week with my. 54 muzzleloader- my one concession to firearms:D In that low deer density area I’m glad to have it.

I found a bow quiver using the rubber tension bands will slide with the limbskins. I ended up putting a light coat of camo paint on my Bear Grizzly after much internal debate.

I was looking around a spot thinking what a place to hunt ! Looked down at my feet into a log skid mark and there lied a perfect stone arrowhead. The passage of hundreds or more years just disappeared in that moment.

I couldn’t find the wasp killer, then thought I did – but it was a can of oven cleaner. Well, I thought this is nasty, and sure enough it drops them as fast as lightning. Probably not too good for a lot of surfaces but it worked on the wasps.

I think because I grew up in a place and time where it was accepted. That, and it’s just a natural thing when kids aren’t tampered with:) And for me I’ve always been a sucker for scenery…maybe that’s been the biggest thing looking back.
