I come in the house and my wife says I smell like dirt and I haven’t been plowing, just shooting.
On the + side you’ll have a “good” mosquito season?Sorry to say we have had so much moisture we are going to get hammered with the biting hoardes this year.
in reply to: What ya got goin? #43403Dave – glad to hear you’re out and about. I understand the sentiment of your last sentence, but edit out the last word. Some of us will heave if we see one more flake:D

in reply to: Going after a grass grizzly #38250Long ago my grandmother told me my great grandfather had to shoot them while in the Russian army or they would have starved. Never looked it up though if woodchucks are native over there?

I picked a lot of tobacco for that habit! CCC. Consolidated Cigar Corp. Dirty rotten job. I bet some of those old “straw bosses” could come close to matching the cuss outs you guys in the military got:lol:

When I was researching I came across some folks that said beware of cheap online Gerbers, they’re made in China. So I ordered mine from a reputable stateside store and had it shipped. At the end of the day my proof is just a stamp on the blade, which could easily have been done by a chinese guy 😕
J.Wesbrock, I’m not entirely sure what counts as trad or non-trad either, but I didn’t think my rubber handled, electrically insulated field knife with MOLLE sheath and tacti-cool legstrap (not in the picture) was in much of a grey area 😉
Shane, good luck mate 🙂
Just for the record and I’m pretty sure no one here would try it, but don’t count on any knife to be electrically insulated. The dirt, grime and sweat on the grip can potentially conduct a current right up your paw. Sorry…I’m in the electric utility business. Cool knife though!
in reply to: Caroline & David Petersen #32312I know there is nothing I can say. We all walk this road together. That’s all I know. Take comfort among us.
