No, I’m new to all of this and have been out of commision for a while. I just had reconstructive surgery on my ankle and my cast came off tues. I’m in a walking cast now and in a month or so should start physical therapy. So I haven’t paid to much attention to any shoots this yr.

Ahhhh, so find the ultimate FOC and distributing extra needed weight while keeping somewhat of the spine integrity is the magic. Clear as mud. No really, I can see the importance of not “overloading the front. I’m just trying not to have to by another thing, 1)I’m a guy and we “fiddle” with stuff. 2)I have way more time than money right now. 3) Saying,”I’m running to the hardware store, do we need anything for the house?” Is better than saying “I need some stuff for my arrows. Would you like me to get you something dear?” aThanks for the input fellers. best fishes< nybubba

I didn’t even read the standards to realize my mistake. I went over my method in my head and pushed on each cheek until I heard the pop. Lets just say it makes a big difference when you measure 28″ from the back of the rest as apposed to the belly side. True poundage at 28″ 31.6# Thanks bender for delicately sugesting it was “operator error” you should be a blue collar worker psychologist. Anyway this is why I read what you folks write. I gotta agree with the masses here. I have a Martin X200 50#@ 28″. A nice sized starter bow at 60″ but I have a 29 1/2″ draw. Had I done some homework before I purchased said bow, I would not be trying to sell and replace it with a longer/different bow. All the same reasons, at full draw, hard to control and anchor, not comfortable to shoot. Fighting with it takes away from the simple grace and beauty of the traditional tackle.

Well bama bows have priced themselves into a “someday bow” for me now, I still think they are worth it but that doesn’t put one in my hand. Some reason I am drawn (no pun intended) to these maddog mutts.

Patrick, I really miss that show and the muzzleloading expo the Grand valley cap and ballers used to put on there. I miss Godfathers buffet. Sounds like a blast. Sorry if I got off topic for this forum. I bought some nice flats there yrs ago that will soon be quivers. Congrats on your purchases. Nybubba

Duncan, Looks very good, is the bottom quiver a “double barrel”? Or is there two of them on the same hook? I’m undecided as what type to go with right now. I’m looking over quivers in 3Rivers and such and putting together ideas jotting down dimensions. I think the most difficult thing for me to picture is the configuration of the back strap/s. Maybee I am just over thinking it and should just put a strap from the top to the bottom and try it out, and make adjustments from there{experimentation what a concept}. I will keep your offer in mind. Nice riggs by the way. nybubba

South of Buffalo, and so far west that when the carp die on lake Erie I can smell’em. Angola,NY to be exact. When we moved here three yrs ago I had no idea New York was such a beautifal state. Growing up in the panhandle of Nebraska I only thought of pavement and skyscrapers in the northeast region.:o what a surprise nybubba

I’m originally from Nebraska and my wife is from Southern California. From the first day I met her she has called me Bubba. I look just like a bubba. Do to the military and various other jobs we have lived many different places so right now we are in Western New York. Thus hence “nybubba”

Thanks for the personal experience w/this. I’m thinking I’m not to far into it that it wouldn’t be that hard to switch to a left hand bow. My son is left handed any way but does alot of things right handed. He will write, fish, and eat lefty, while he shoots, throws, and plays guitar right handed, but is left eye dominant. So an investment in a left hand bow would not be a waste of money. thanks Jim

when I tested for helicopter pilot school one of the warrant officers said if you are not r/eye dom we can teach you to be. So far if a yellow jacket shooting block wonders in my back yard, I could kill it from probably 15/20 yds w/right hand tackle. thanks for the insight
