in reply to: My newest set of woods #60887
Ripforce, I ordered a hunter model. Nate thought it would be a good idea for me to start off with the longer “D” shape for the more forgiving nature of it. I gave Nate complete creative control on this! Can’t wait to see what he comes up with:)
in reply to: My newest set of woods #60123Great work! Just so you know, you and ripforce are the reason I ordered a bama! So far, dealing with Nate has been awesome! So pumped to get it! Back on topic though, where do you order your shafts?
in reply to: Good arrows that won't break the bank? #58532Thanks guys! Very helpful info. I found some goldtip traditionals. Left wing helical fletch, wood wrap(don’t really care, but looks cool) for about $100 per dozen. I believe they are 7595’s for my draw weight, so like 11 grains per inch. Anyone have experience with these? I shoot goldtips from my compound and love them, no experience with this particular model though. Thanks again!
in reply to: trad bow for tall guys? #53400Well all, I decided to go with a Bama hunter! His prices are the best I’ve seen and his quality seems to be top shelf. I haven’t seen a bad review at all, and… Did I say his prices can’t be beat? 🙂 just ordered it today, I’m sooo pumped to get it I can’t stand it!
in reply to: trad bow for tall guys? #47886sounds good! now, this may be a little off topic, I was told by a local traditional archer, that eastern bows or “horse bows” are able to draw to great lengths without stacking. He said they are very accurate and have no hand shock. Just curious if anyone has used them or known anyone that has that could verify this. thanks a lot everyone!:D
in reply to: trad bow for tall guys? #47431You guys have all been more than helpful! I thank you for your time! I am much closer to deciding what route to take:)
in reply to: trad bow for tall guys? #45654I would prefer a long bow. I have been looking at dryridge archery. He has very affordable prices on his bows, and I haven’t found any negatives about his bows. Anyone had any experience with his bows?
in reply to: trad bow for tall guys? #44474I appreciate the quick reply time! Very good info:) I am going to get on the classified section of the site asap!
