      Greetings . I live in the interior of B.C . My first bow was a used Chek-Mate “Hunter 2″ recurve . 62″ long 51# @ 28” Still one of my favorites. Paid 500 bucks . Seems one of the biggest mistakes when first starting is to buy too heavy a bow . 48 or 50 pounds should be lots for what you want .

        Good point lol. I’m not a big 3-r fan myself .However ,living where I do , if it weren’t for internet suppliers I would never have been able to acquire half the gear I have .{which would have made my wife happier ] Same problem as far as ability to shoot different bows. Maybe I’ll look at the Chek-Mate bows here in B.C .

          Bottom line is you need more than one quiver . I’ve only been in this game for 3 seasons, and have three quivers. and remember it’s easier to get forgiveness than permission!:D
