This is true, I had a Herters recurve in 52″ and it was a beast. Of course I didn’t think so at the time. Amazing how times change, just hope it doesn’t cost to much to learn those lessons

Probably good in a wet climate. but I’ll stick with my Jack or the GFA

I have a 62″ in bamboo with a Bacotte riser. Its fast smooth and stable it would be great in the shorter length. Something stable in the riser makes it swing nice.

If 45#s allows you to place a sharp broadhead in the vitals of a deer then it is enough bow. Arrow placement is more important then poundage. You might try as heavy an arrow as you can shoot accuratly to increase penetration. Good hunting

I shoot a 56″ wildhorse creek bow 54@28 and it shoots great at my 27.5 inch draw length I have also shot one of his 52″ bows and they draw smooth to 28″ no problem.Short bows are great for blind hunting and tight brush shoots.

I prefer the 3 blade snuffer, but I’m with SL its pretty much personal preference as long as its sharp and flys well for you.

I’ve used back quivers, bow quivers, and then hybrid side quivers still havn’t found the perfect one. I use different quivers for different situations, but for all round usefullnes I shoot a GFA it doesn’t off balance the bow and add weight like a bow quiver, and it does not hang up in the brush or flag game when you draw an arrow like a back quiver. Try one I think you’ll like it. Does have a restriction on quantity though.
