I think there’s a good chance they might work ok with the heavy inserts in my 56# bow .i’ve had luck getting glued inserts out by applying heat to the field tip and twisting with a pair of vice grips. didnt work on the little 9/32 easton axis arrows though. the carbon just separated ! I too have had luck with the hot melt stuff . Good luck with those woodies .Ive been playing with some Doug fir shafts in may shrew bow they fly pretty nice and quiet.

Those stiffer arrows would likely fly nice out of say a 55lb. Bow . You could probably sell them and recoup some of your loss .??

We normally have lots of Blackies Roming around but we’ve had lots of winter kill the last couple of years . I think some sort of virus that gets them in their dens . Did see a nice sow and 3 cubs about a month ago

The creek behind the house was flooding this spring and because of a logjam we had about 4 feet of water running through the cottonwoods below the house . Upside was the mallards that moved in and proceeded to hatch a batch of chick’s . We had many enjoyable mornings drinking our coffee and watching the duck antics .the “creek ” has since dried up .guess ducks have moved out to the main creek . Recently have seen a bald eagle crusing back and forth looking for a meal

Ha Ha .I never thought about that . its just a small barn that that we store wood shavings from the local sawmill in . we use them for bedding in the horse stalls . so after hunkering down in that stuff i later realised my cloths were full of the stuff!

in reply to: Possibles bag #47548

This thread cracked me up as I was just having a similar discussion with my wife. I had purchased a “possibles” bag from the woolen purse companylast fall but never used it , until I had some pretty serious surgery on my hip in Feb .once I was on crutches that “purse ” came in real handy . My wife keeps calling it my purse I keep corecting her ” its a possibles bag .

Friend gets in my truck thr other day ,to ride to the archery range . Says “hey your wife left her purse in here !:(
