Tillers are suggestive and different from a bow to another

On another way you compare a first price bow with Hoyt Buff. Witch is a very good bow

I had one ( 50 lbs ) and I remember berger button was not easy to adjust But it’s a great bow ( for a little price) I ‘ll recommend for 3D, but the last I’ll use for hunting

I also fund this Hoyt a very good bow if shooter is at his best shape If you’r not at 100% the smallest error will be catastrophic

Sure Beman and Easton are made in USA, I also use it Other quality choice are rare and expensive if delivered in EU

But 99% . B Widow products come from China

                I shoot carbon arrows

I shoot 3D all year long I bowhunt 5 months a year ( wild boars & some red deers )

                For 3D I use 8 grains / pounds

For hunting with same bow 12 grains / pounds

As I never shoot ( when hunting ) more than 15 meters away lights or heavy arrows have same fly on shorts distances

So, long range with lights arrows or very short range with very heavy arrows are exactly same gesture

I did not invent anything it’s just obvious 💡

With trad bow you can shoot 3D targets until 35/40 meters

and 7 or 8 grain /pound will be enough ( depending bow )

For hunting I use 11 to 12 G/pounds sometime more but I never shoot an animal more than 16 meters away

A friend of mine shoot 2 caffer buff in africa with 65 Lbs LB and 800 grains arrow ( 10 meters shoot ! )

Choice arrows for what you’r doing with

                  and good luck

THat is of course, assuming (spelling?) you are NOCK tapering, cause I don’t think in my limited experience I’ve heard of guys point tapering and leaving the nock end parallel…

I did barrel tapered…was a chore.. my Great RRA were 23/64 tapered to 5/16 nock end… big, fat “killing end” to use your term, but they were hell for stout!

I agree That is the way I do when using wooden shafts

Sometime spine changes between two same wooden arrows 🙄
