I’m pretty sure AMO is either 56 or 58. And yes, I do intend to shoot it before committing to it.
Thanks again!

in reply to: What's your favorite bowhunting song? #13593Is it weird that mine is the Chili’s Baby Back Ribs song, you know, “I want my baby back, baby back, baby back,) over and over. Man, now it’s in my head.
On another note, going hunting tonight, will let you all know how it goes.

in reply to: Hello, my name is Drew #12866Thanks for the kind words guys, I will definatley check out the group you mentioned, maybe they are having some shoots I could attend. About the hogs, I live up in the northwest corner so we don’t have so many in my neck of the Blueridge. You gotta go south down near the Pisgah and Nantahalla to find those big bruisers. I do understand though that down around Asheville in the Pisgah the Wildlife guys are encouraging hunting of hogs because of the land damage they are doing in the National Forest Areas. I would imaging that there are some good articles out there on the web if one were to check into it.
Thanks again!
Drewin reply to: Hello, my name is Drew #12617I hear you! We killed our TV two years ago but left the satelite in place and now receive a couple of free preview channels each month. This months preview is the sportsmans channel. Makes me remember why we killed the tv! And yes, it was more the style of the show and way they hunted. Hiring a complete outfitter to scout for a month before the season opened, keep tabs on “his ram”, dragging the hunter to a ridge top on opening morning and letting him shoot it with his $6,000 carbon rifle at a range of 400 yards, and then the fist bumping, cursing filled celebration of his “accomplishment,” it was bad..
