      Thanks Handirifile foe your input. I guess the bowyer has a point about using a heavier bow to compensate for a short draw length is not as efficient as a bow designed at the proper draw. But a net improvement of 5-10 fps is a mute point. Thanks everyone for a unanimous NO!!

        Thanks Arne for your input. I ordered this bow about 20 years past. All I knew about bows was a 28″ AMO standard for draw weight. Wanting a bow that would draw 50# or so for deer hunting, I figured a heavier bow would compensate for my 25″ draw length. For a few years I happily entered the deer woods not giving any thoughts about inferior bow performance. At a traditional bowhunter expo a comment to a bowyer about my setup got a reply that my bow is not as efficient as a bow designed for my draw. Later inquires with other dealers suggested I try a shorter bow which added to my confusion. I appreciate your direct reply and will put this issue to rest.
