in reply to: Fletching Tool? #50611New to fletchinng also.Bought the Ez fletch and having a blast.I don,t consider myself real handy. I have only used carbon so far with wraps and happy to say I am very pleased. I will most likely try other fletchers as I get more time. Good luck. I am so glad to have happened upon this longbow world.Everyday is magic for me.

in reply to: source for Sitka spruce? #8546David Petersen wrote: I need to find a good source for Sitka spruce shafts. A google search turned up only Lancaster, and so far they haven’t responded to my email.
If you know a supplier who sells Sitka spruce, I’d appreciate hearing about it. 3Rivers and such won’t do, as they have a limited spine and weight range and I need specialty shafts. Thanks if you can help, Dave
you might try Scott . I have purchased some of his arrows and I believe he also sells shafts

in reply to: Martin ML9 #24012Thank you Steve for the words of encouragement. I was just in the backyard shooting the little bugger. Must say I am taking a liking to it. Handshock is minimal and I am still tuning it.. This site is the best just as TBM. I am fairly new to the longbow but have fallen head over heels in love with these magic sticks. God bless all.

What is it when an old man can not get enough of watching an arrow fly right where he is looking??Don,t know where I would be if not for a longbow. God Bless
