Glad I am not alone’ sorry Etter..Hope you get it figured out and please pass along what works for you.I have read all the books , watched the videos and practiced my old butt off. Some days are awesome and others can drive me batty. I think to much at times and do better just let em loose.Guess that’s what keeps me going.Love this stuff. Best to all

New to fletchinng also.Bought the Ez fletch and having a blast.I don,t consider myself real handy. I have only used carbon so far with wraps and happy to say I am very pleased. I will most likely try other fletchers as I get more time. Good luck. I am so glad to have happened upon this longbow world.Everyday is magic for me.

        God bless Dave

If you know a supplier who sells Sitka spruce, I’d appreciate hearing about it. 3Rivers and such won’t do, as they have a limited spine and weight range and I need specialty shafts. Thanks if you can help, Dave

you might try Scott . I have purchased some of his arrows and I believe he also sells shafts

I have a custom longbow made by Nate Steele of Bama Bows and love it.Nate is a great guy to deal with and makes a nice bow at a fair price. Highly reccomend Bama to anyone looking for quality and function.

Thank you Steve for the words of encouragement. I was just in the backyard shooting the little bugger. Must say I am taking a liking to it. Handshock is minimal and I am still tuning it.. This site is the best just as TBM. I am fairly new to the longbow but have fallen head over heels in love with these magic sticks. God bless all.

Amen brother,At my age it hurts to think to much.Total agreement with kids way.Magic just seems to return when no thought is applied. What is it when an old man can not get enough of watching an arrow fly right where he is looking??Don,t know where I would be if not for a longbow. God Bless
