PSE and Bear both have a few starter recurves and longbows to choose from. You can choose from a verity of places to find these bows. IE: Bass pro Cabela’s Local pro shop and on line catalogs. You will spend a couple hundred bucks on one of these bows. Or spend a couple hundred more and get a custom made bow. Trust me you will see the difference. Holler at me if you want a good custom bow for around 400.00 or look at Timberhawk bows. Strike series.

Ha Mike. When will scott be finished with your bow? what woods did you decide on? The talon 56″ was my next choice but i like this short bow for ground blind hunting. If you have never owned a bow by timberhawk you are in for a real treat. I won’t ruin the moment for you.

This is a nice bow. Shoots smooth and fast. Small grip just like a compound riser. Now the down side. I just couldn’t see droping 600+ dollars on this bow. I had a custom made Timberhawk bow made and it was only 529 so i think Hoyt might be marketing this a little too high.
