what Don said —
if you go to the AZ G&F website they have good descriptions of each hunting unit and where to go in the unit for different game. Most of the Coues deer will be in the lower elevations of that unit near the rim or generally further south. The area near alpine[north portion] is mostly mule deer – elk. I have not been in that unit in a while but the SW portion of it was good WT country. it is very rough / steep terrain — good boots and good glass.

looks like you’ve been having fun out there in the boonies —
The old “Claymore Bag” {got a traditional name anyway haha}- built for one op use, nice and light. They can
hold up for awhile especially if you can sew [the threads tend to unravel]. Great for carrying a lot of extra 30rd Mags.
In fact I still have a couple holding same —

I own 2 shrews both made by Gregg Coffey [ don’t know if/ how much that would make a difference] Mine are 54″ length 54-56 lbs at 26″. The Paperwork that came with the bow says 450+ string, Nock pt 9/16ths above center, brace height is suggested to be no lower than 7″ up to 7 1/2″ to the low spot on the grip. Since your’s is “new” [ unfinished] the paperwork also adds – “when you first string the bow [ with string furnished by Laclair ] it may be higher than that but DO NOT untwist the string to the suggested 7″. The string will stretch after you shoot the bow for awhile at which time you can adjust it to the desired height. If you untwist the {new} string initially to a lower brace it may slip thru itself and come apart”.
I hope that is helpful

in reply to: Thumb rings? #58210What I found interesting from the Videos — they are right Hand shooters, using what we would consider ” Left Hand Bows” [Rt side window] but they are very quiet and smooth on there placement & draw of the arrow! food for thought–
