in reply to: fletching hitting high wrist shooter #19094
I bought a used predator and my first shot with it my feather laid my bow hand open in the same spot your talking about. I felt like and idiot. I mean who gets there hand cut be a feather. haha. But i increased my brace height and raised my nocking point a little and it helped a lot. Although if i let my bow hand palm roll away from the bow it will still happen but not near as bad and i haven’t had any more blood loss.
in reply to: Predator bow #11992and what is the brace height you all are shooting
in reply to: Predator bow #11986Yeah mongoose you did met me. I got the bow from big Jim. Its pretty cool that your on here. did you go to the Tn Klassic. I met some other predator owners there and they gave me a little info on how to calm the hand shock on mine but haven’t had the time to try them out.
in reply to: Predator bow #59450Thanks for the reply howler. I was wondering if you have a lot of hand shock or limb vibration when you shoot. I thought about putting stick on limb savers on it but would rather not. It might just be how predators shoot but I don’t know enough about them.
in reply to: Wrist position #43839Hey when i got into traditional shooting about a year or so ago i started with a bear grizzly and i had to twist my wrist around and put the draw weight on my thumb. If I didn’t twist and put the weight on my palm i would shoot way left, but I got a different bow and with my new one i can keep the pressure on my palm and have no problem shooting left. I don’t know enough about it yet to give you any advice ha ha i know twisting my wrist around and putting the pressure on my thumb felt good with the grizzly but awkward with my predator so who knows
