      Beautiful bows bud. Nice craftsmanship.

A dry fired bow will develop a crack in the riser or break from dry firing in the area in the back of the bow and usually be a vertical crack running from the notch in the shelf and window. Or where the window meets the shelf on the back side of the bow. Look at it carefully and see if you see anything. Being that you’ve run 50 or so arras through her she’s probably fine.

        Hope this helps

No problem bud. I grew up down there in south Texas still have lots of friends in Victoria. They use the recurve models and love them. Best of luck.

I have the double bull recurve model and I shoot out if very comfortably. It’s worth the money in my opinion to buy it. I bought a cheaper model and it lasted 1/2 a season. Bought a double bull and its on its 4 th season.

I’m in the process of making myself some raised beds for veggies and the like. We had a huge garden growing up as a kid and I did enjoy all the fresh veggies.

Florida sand dont grow much. I like the pics that ive seen so far.

I would use a small piece of leather kinda like a flipper and then wrap the handle to cover the rest. If not you could find a small piece of horn or wood for a rest then put velcro on it.

                    Hope this helps

my garden doesnt grow to well in the florida sand. But it is a choice every season of what to grow. This year we chose green beans. I dont have much room in my yard to plant a garden so its mainly just the flower beds. I wish I could plant a big garden but I dont want to sound too greedy .

                        Nice pics

I loaded my pack this weekend with 80 pounds of salt 2 sacks. for my water softener and took to the woods for a little walk on flat ground. INitial thought were this thing is amazing. But i will say that this is the first pack that I have ever bought. It is quiet and thats a plus in my book. comfort is great although I have nothing to compare to.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I spent some pennies and ordered me a Eberlestock J34 with the longbow attachment. Hopefully this will be a do it all pack for me.

Here’s a link from yew tree archery. I can’t remember what wax it is I use as I’m at the fire station today. But any furniture wax without silicone will work.
