Thanks Steve! I will look at the differences and do my best to make them the same. I will also shoot the heck out of the new string and then see how the arrows fly. Thanks again for tips.

I have been using many quivers and the safari tuff is my favorite…here is the link

If you get the small one be sure to get the rain cover with it. Good luck with the flint work I have yet to jump into that river but someday I am sure I will.

I don’t know anything about Pearson bows but I have an old Bear recure. I start at 7 inches then tighten up till it got quit and grouped will. It is braced at 9 inches. I also put some moleskin on the bow on the side facing you when you shoot it where the string touchs the bow at the tips. I also use cat whisker string silencers and that really helps with sound as well. Hope this helps but I am sure someone has better knowledge on Pearson bows…good luck

try this link to check the age of your bow…I have the same length bow and I get a 56 inch dacron string…they work well for me.

The connection I feel with nature while hunting the hard way recharges my soul. There is no better feeling then having an encounter with an animal at close quarters. Being in the woods is good therapy for a bad day of dealing with the darker side of mankind……plus it is good fun and makes me smile!!!

                    Doc,
Hope you mend up soon and enjoy the new place, it sounds so wonderful. Thanks for all your time and effort in the lethality studies. You have done a fine job in helping me become a better archer.

                    Thanks
