Morels are great fried up with breakfast!

Always remember that you can eat any mushroom once!

If you want to learn anything about bowfishing in Ohio you need to talk with Clarence Cremeans. The last i knew he was living in Pataskala Ohio. He is a state rep for Ohio for Bowfishing Assn. of America. He has done a great deal of work in Ohio to get laws and regulations for bowfishing noticed by state for records and whatnot. I talked with him once and this guy eats breaths and sleeps bowfishing. He goes by Desperado on OhioSportsman.com. I’m sure he will let you know anything you want to know about bowfishing.
I live in Newark and there is plenty of carp to aim around here. I have very simple set up and use it very often. Lots of fun I just throw on old clothes and go hit little rivers and streams as much as i can.

I don’t claim to know much about nothing… With that being said there is alot of truth to getting what you pay for and i am a very adamant believer in this saying, but in the past i have been proven wrong in just the opposite. i shoot sporting clays and trap with some top of the line shotguns that i have purchased i the belief that you get what you pay for. those big name shotguns miss just as good as those of the rack guns. i belive this is true with most other things in “our” line of hobbies. in the end it might only matter to who you shoot with or your own personal preference. i beleive its the person behind the equipment and thier techniques. not just the equipment.

Thank you. I will look into getting a couple different sizes and trying them out. Do you know if 3 rivers sells one arrow? I know Lancaster archery does. Thanks again. Trent

Iron, I too am fairly new to this site or at least to posting and commenting on this site. I have recently began to shoot recurves and longbows again. I like carbon arrows and have chosen to try the CX Heritage arrows. I shoot a 68″ 50# @28″ longbow my draw is 29″. From all the charts I have read the 250’s fall under what I would need. I would venture to guess that you might be close to the same as myself. Do you have any pros or cons on these arrows since you are asking ?’s about other arrows or are you just looking to experiment with others. I do build my own arrows and I am planning on ordering some Heritage shafts soon. I guess I would like more info on these shafts before I buy them. Thanks for you time.

Cody 3 Rivers is in Ashley IN. It is a large traditional archery wholesaler. Thank you Buzzard for the information. I am going over the first weekend in March. Glad to hear I can get my hands on all the stuff i plan to buy. I don’t mind ordering over the net, but there is nothing better than getting to check it all out before i buy.

My name is Trent. If you want to find me that is where I will be. In the backyard shooting. I’m back there shooting something. Don’t do a lot of hunting but I sure like hitting those targets
